Scope-first. No ambiguity.
Cleaning Checklist
This is what “good” looks like. If you want extra items included (inside appliances, heavy limescale, mould, etc.), state it upfront so the scope and price stay aligned.
Kitchen
- Degrease surfaces, backsplash, and worktops
- Clean sink, taps, and surrounding areas
- Clean external cupboards/handles; spot clean marks
- Wipe external appliances (hob hood, microwave exterior)
- Vacuum/mop floors and edge lines
Bathrooms
- Descale/sanitise shower, bath, sinks, taps
- Clean toilet inside/out + base
- Polish mirrors + chrome
- Wipe tiles, remove visible soap residue
- Vacuum/mop floors
Bedrooms & Living Areas
- Dust/wipe surfaces, skirting, reachable ledges
- Clean light switches, door handles, touch points
- Vacuum floors and edges; mop hard floors
- Spot clean marks where practical
- Internal windows where safe/accessible
Hallways & Utility
- Vacuum/mop floors and stairs
- Wipe bannisters/handrails where applicable
- Clean inside utility sink (if present)
- Remove cobwebs where accessible
- Final visual check + tidy finish
Important: The checklist is a standard baseline. Real homes vary. If you have heavy limescale,
mould, pet hair, or neglected areas, the time and price will increase. Provide photos for bulletproof quoting.
Kitchen Deep
- Thorough degrease of work areas and splash zones
- Detail clean hob area, surfaces, sinks/taps
- Fronts of units cleaned; detailed edges/handles
- Floor detail incl. edges and corners
- Optional: inside cupboards/appliances (add-on)
Bathroom Deep
- Descale focus points (shower screen, tiles, taps)
- Sanitise all high-touch surfaces
- Detail edges, corners, and visible grout lines
- Mirror/chrome polished
- Optional: mould treatment (assessment needed)
Living Areas Deep
- Dust and wipe all reachable surfaces
- Skirting boards wiped
- Doors/frames spot cleaned
- Vacuum edges + under accessible furniture
- Optional: interior windows/blinds (add-on)
Finish
- Bin liners replaced (if provided)
- Final walk-through visual check
- Priority is visible standard + hygiene points
- Anything outside scope flagged
- Quote adjusts for severe neglect/heavy soil
Important: Deep cleans vary massively. If there’s heavy grease, limescale, mould, pet hair,
or neglected rooms, time and price increase. Photos make pricing accurate.
Standard (Each Visit)
- Vacuum and/or mop floors
- Wipe worktops and main surfaces
- Clean sinks/taps, wipe splash marks
- Clean toilet and bathroom surfaces
- Empty bins (if accessible)
Rotation Items (As Needed)
- Skirting boards (light)
- Internal windows (light)
- Door frames/handles
- Microwave exterior/interior (light)
- Spot cleaning marks
What Regular Does NOT Mean
- No heavy limescale removal by default
- No deep oven cleaning by default
- No hoarding/declutter unless agreed
- No hazardous waste
- No lifting heavy furniture alone
Best Results
- Keep clutter minimal on surfaces
- Tell us priority areas each visit
- Be realistic about time vs scope
- Consistency beats “one miracle clean”
- Upgrades available anytime
Important: Regular cleans assume a maintained home. If there’s heavy buildup, mould,
pet hair, or neglected areas, we’ll quote an upgrade (deep clean/reset) first.
Dust Removal
- Fine dust removal from surfaces and ledges
- Skirting/edges wiped
- Vacuum with attention to corners
- Spot wipe doors/frames where dusty
- Optional: multiple passes if heavy dust
Kitchen/Bathroom Reset
- Sanitise sinks, taps, and splash zones
- Wipe cupboards fronts/handles
- Descale where needed (light–moderate)
- Floors cleaned after dust settle
- Paint splatter removal assessed case-by-case
Windows
- Internal window clean where safe/accessible
- Frames/sills wiped
- Sticker residue assessed
- External windows are separate scope
- Blinds are add-on
Reality Check
- Post-build sites vary massively
- If rubble/industrial waste remains, job pauses
- Heavy paint/cement removal needs specialist scope
- Provide photos for firm pricing
- Expectations set before arrival
Important: If builders have left rubble, plaster, cement, or significant paint splatter,
it may require a specialist clean or extra time. Photos prevent surprises.
Work Areas
- Dust/wipe desks (clear-surface basis)
- Sanitise touch points (handles, switches)
- Vacuum/mop floors
- Bins emptied and liners replaced (if provided)
- Spot clean glass partitions (light)
Kitchens/Break Areas
- Wipe counters and tables
- Clean sink/taps
- External microwave/fridge wipe
- Floors cleaned
- Sanitise high-touch areas
Toilets
- Toilets cleaned/sanitised
- Sinks, mirrors, dispensers wiped
- Floors mopped
- Restock consumables (if supplied onsite)
- Report maintenance issues
Commercial Notes
- Frequency affects price (daily/weekly)
- Out-of-hours available
- Security/access rules must be stated
- Sq ft helps for accurate quoting
- Site survey optional for large premises
Important: Commercial scope depends on occupancy and footfall. Provide square footage,
number of toilets, kitchen areas, and frequency for accurate pricing.
Inside Appliances (Add-on)
- Oven internal clean (degrease + detail)
- Fridge internal wipe (empty required)
- Microwave internal wipe
- Dishwasher filter wipe (light)
- Prices depend on condition
Heavy Limescale / Mould
- Assessment required before confirming
- May need specialist chemicals/time
- Some mould is treatment + prevention advice
- Ventilation/moisture source matters
- Photos required
Carpets / Upholstery
- Spot treatment where possible
- Extraction/steam depends on fibres
- Stain removal not guaranteed
- Drying time varies
- Quoted separately
Declutter / Support
- Sorting + bagging support (no removals)
- Cleaner access improves results
- Time-based add-on
- Consent/decisions stay with client
- Ideal before deep/reset cleans
Important: Add-ons are where scope creep happens. State them upfront so quote and expectations match.
